As a Domestic Shorthair breed, the real Falafel is fortunately not a super-fluffy feline, but he does shed a lot of fur in the springtime.

We toyed with how to visualise this endless game of shed-and-sweep in the comic, and the scoreboard sign in the final panel seemed to do the trick (although those quantities are a bit larger-than-life!).
