'Morning Interlude' is my homage to the simplicity of old-timey silent films, where the lifting of a stage curtain invites the audience into a scene. In this quiet vignette, Falafel lounges in the sun-drenched serenity of the window sill instead of his cat perch ("which one?" you might ask - good question), lying undisturbed from dawn until the question of dinner arises.

Keeping with the silver-screen theme, we chose to display the comic’s title in a serif font reminiscent of the silent film era, evoking a timeless appreciation for the restful, sleepy moments in a cat's life (which, in Falafel’s case, is most of his life).
